Devoted to Flowering
When One Flower Blooms Spring Awakens Everywhere ~ John O’Donohue
It has been my experience that the process of Yoga is a little bit like flowering. Many of us come to the practice seeking something - more space, more connection, less pain, less fear. Only to realize that the resources we seek are already there, like a reservoir of insight, waiting to be witnessed.
In our integrative and specialty 500HR Yoga, Trauma & Ecology Teacher Training, we focus on fostering skillful teaching artistry in the field of Yogic Healing. This program skillfully integrates contemporary somatic approaches to trauma healing with the indigenous wisdom of Yogic thought and practice. Designed for the serious practitioner and teacher who wishes to focus on transforming suffering into understanding in themselves, individuals, and the universal moving body.
In our comprehensive trainings, we focus on deeply supporting sensitive, creative, and courageous individuals in the field of Yogic studies and practice. We welcome students of all ages, abilities, cultural and spiritual backgrounds, and believe in a holistic approach to practice that is rooted in kindling the light of awareness. We offer significant scholarships to BIPOC, LBGTQ+, and Disabled individuals and are committed to supporting marginalized teachers in becoming leaders in their communities. Teachers who specialize in Trauma have a unique skillset that can apply to working with groups and individuals, as well as within larger systems and networks.
In this training you will deepen your home Sadhana, clarify your North Star or Dharma Statement, discover who your students are, commit to embodying your personal values, go through a rigorous assessment of your teaching ethics, and practice channeling your authentic voice, life-experiences, and natural gifts on the mat and on the cushion.
Composed of 8 in-person immersions and supported by online coursework & coaching; this training is our way of bolstering you in your unique healing process and teaching practice.
